Peter Vu is a Los Angeles-native, self-taught artist and street muralist interested in exploring the human condition through facial expressions. Peter believes a person’s immediate truth can be captured by their expression. Ultimately, truth lies in the reaction. Peter’s recent street mural “All in All” features roughly 2,400 different faces individually drawn on bricks collectively forming the mural.
Peter has jumped between a number of disciplines until coming back to his childhood passion of drawing and painting. Peter studied Architecture at the University of Southern California, worked in the field briefly, and later worked his way into the entertainment industry as a freelance illustrator. Peter currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, where he practices street art, taking his architectural design and illustration influences, and making the world his canvas.
